Nereids are Greek mythological daughters of the Old Man of the Sea.

They are sea creatures who protect those in, or on the water.

The Nereids in my series are all situated on Pakefield beach, Lowestoft; and are clothed in geo textiles and other debris which have been collected from the beach, there as a result of cliff erosion. Eione is the Nereid of the beach strand.

This original is mixed media with photography, embroidery, beach debris, smashed sea glass and sand residue on sustainable hemp paper.

Size of image is approx 19.5 × 19.5 cm. It comes mounted and framed. Framed size is 25 × 25 cm
